A little bit about me.
Hello, my name is Danielle and I run Diverse dogs training and behaviour.
I only work on a one to one basis, with structured programmes and if needed long term support to enable your dog, with your help to achieve their maximum potential.
My journey into the dog training world started when I left my job as a Biomedical Scientist in the NHS four years ago to do my dream job of working with dogs. I have since ran my own very successful doggy daycare business and achieved my aim of qualifying as a dog trainer and behaviourist. I've had dogs all my life and as a child my family would adopt dogs from Battersea dogs home back in the days when it was still a four storey house. This was the beginning of my love for dogs and I've never been without at least one dog in the house since. I've had both rescue dogs and have been a KC assured breeder when I bred a couple of litters from my beautiful girl Ellie, a golden retriever and each one brings something special whether it be a rescue, a pedigree, a small dog or a large dog.
Which is why the ethos of my training is all dogs matter and deserve to have a happy and fulfilled life.

Puppy training
Do you have a puppy? We run a six week programme which is fun, engaging and stimulating for your puppy and will give you all the information you need for your puppy to grow into a happy, well balanced, social and resilient dog, using kind, ethical, positive, force free and effective methods.

Does your dog pull on the lead or not come back when you call? I can help you with this in easy steps. You will take your dog out knowing that he/she will be well behaved and a joy to be out with.
I will help you to train your dog to be happy, well balanced, sociable and resilient, using kind, ethical, force free and effective methods.
I use only positive reinforcement, this ensures that a great bond is created between you and your dog and a happy dog means a happy owner!

121 behaviour consultation and training
Do you have a dog that is reactive, anxious or fearful to other dogs, people, noises or anything at all? Do you feel that other people judge you when they see you out with your dog? I will not judge you, it is not your fault. I will compose a bespoke programme, suited to your dog's needs
Separation anxiety
Does your dog struggle when left alone? Does your dog destroy your furniture and belongings? Does your dog scratch at the door? Does your dog bark and whine when you go out? Some dogs find it really hard to cope when they are left alone and they really suffer. Let me help you with a proven step by step way of teaching your dog that it is ok to be on their own. The programme is for an initial 4 weeks, including an assessment on your dog, with complete support from me by WhatsApp and video calls throughout the training.

One to one dog walking and training

One to one Puppy training
Give your puppy the best start in life by learning about puppy behaviour, how their minds work and how to get the best from them with a consultation and structured training programme.
Includes how to recognise your puppy's body language, normal puppy behaviour, calming tools, basic training exercises.
Full support is given throughout the course by whats-app/email where I will get back to you within 24 hours

Bespoke training
and behaviour programme
A consultation and training programme aimed at anxious or fearful and reactive dogs and dogs with behavioural issues such as abnormal repetitive behaviours, inappropriate barking, noise sensitivity and multi dog household issues.
Ongoing support will be given by weekly visits, and I will be available by phone or email, during the programme where I will get back to you within 24 hours.
A vet referral will be required for dog's with aggression.
PRICES
1. One to one dog walking and training
Price per one hour session £30 (Minimum 4 sessions)
1st session is a consultation to gather information and formulate a training plan.
Extra sessions can be added as needed.
Full support by whats-app and email while the training is on-going
2. One to one puppy/dog training.
6 week programme: £180
Extra sessions can be added as needed.

3. Bespoke training and behaviour programme.
Consultation: £100
Training session per hour. £40
Minimum 4 sessions.
The number of sessions needed will depend on dogs needs and level of support needed.

4. Separation anxiety
4 week initial programme £200, includes video and whatsapp support.

Terms and Conditions
Training Walks
1. Cancellations - 72 hours’ notice is required. Charges may be applied (for up to the entire period that has been cancelled) if the required notice period is not given.
2. All payments are subject to a monthly payment plan; however, initial consultation fees will be invoiced and must be paid in advance to confirm your initial appointment.
3. Diverse Dogs reserves the right to cancel the contract (at any time & with immediate effect) if any dog/s under the contract do not respond well to the therapy plan and/or other dogs (where the continuing of said contract is deemed, by Diverse Dogs to constitute a risk).
4. All dogs will be exercised on a lead during training walks unless prior agreement has been reached with Diverse Dogs and the disclaimer section of the contract has been signed.
5. The trainer will apply personal judgement and cut short a training session, if necessary, because of extreme weather conditions; including, but not limited to: excessive heat, torrential rain, thunderstorms and snow/ice. The decision to do so lies with the judgment of the trainer, for the safety of themselves, members of the public, other animals, and that of the recipient. In such circumstances, the decision to give a refund for that session (either complete or partial) is at the discretion of Diverse Dogs.
6. Although Diverse Dogs cannot fully guarantee a 100% success rate with any training plan, the methods used have a high success rate with clients who follow and practice them in the long term.
7. All methods used are kind, ethical and effective; however, they are not instant and take commitment from the client to work with their dog in the long-term.
8. All dogs that are known to have a bite history (either with other dogs or humans), or that have otherwise previously caused injury, need to wear a muzzle. Diverse Dogs accepts no responsibility for dogs who are not muzzled, or otherwise kept under control, during the session or when working outside of the session. Failure to wear a muzzle when requested may result in the immediate termination of your support and a refund may not be offered.
9. Diverse Dogs holds relevant insurance with Pet Business Insurance, However, any accident or injury during our training session will not be covered if you have failed to use the appropriate equipment or failed to follow the advice of the trainer.
10. Dogs must be always kept under control when the trainer enters your premises. Failure to do so (and any injury or damage caused by your dog/s being out of control) will be your full responsibility.
11. In some cases, a ‘stooge dog’ may be brought in to aid in training. You will be responsible for keeping your dog a sufficient and safe distance from the stooge dog and, if requested, will need your dog to wear a muzzle during these sessions.
12. You are happy for Diverse Dogs to share success stories about your dog via social media, including the sharing of photos and videos.
13. You are happy to write a testimonial if requested.
14. You agree to report/check in regularly about your dog’s progress, through either email, text, or by sharing on our Facebook page or respond to any communication from Diverse Dogs Continued failure to do so may result in a termination of your support.
